Reports: S. Sreesanth Served Legal notice On Spat With Gautam Gambhir

The intense confrontation between India’s World Cup-winning cricketers Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth during the Legends League Cricket (LLC) has taken a more serious turn. According to an NDTV report, the LLC Commissioner has reportedly issued a legal notice to S Sreesanth concerning his post-match tirade against Gautam Gambhir. The incident transpired during an LLC match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants, where the two senior players engaged in a heated exchange, with S Sreesanth alleging that Gautam Gambhir referred to him as a “fixer.”

Following the match, S Sreesanth posted a video on the social media platform Instagram, providing insights into his altercation with Gautam Gambhir. The report indicates that the LLC Commissioner is displeased with S Sreesanth’s decision to address the issue on social media, deeming it a “breach of contract.”

In the midst of the heated exchange of words between S Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir regarding an incident in a match, the LLC issued a statement addressing the matter. The statement mentioned that an “internal investigation” will be conducted, and any evidence of “misconduct” will be “dealt with strictly.”

This development unfolded as the issue escalated on social media, with S Sreesanth accusing Gautam Gambhir of showing disrespect and using offensive language. In response, Gautam Gambhir shared a cryptic post on Instagram, featuring a smiling picture with the caption “Smile when the world is all about attention!”

Gambhir’s Instagram post escalated S Sreesanth’s anger, prompting him to question Gambhir’s perceived authority. Sreesanth asked Gambhir if he considered himself above the Supreme Court. In his response, Sreesanth expressed his disappointment, stating, “You have surpassed the boundaries expected of a sportsman and a fellow player. As a representative of the people, you persist in conflicts with every cricketer. What is the matter with you? I merely smiled and observed, and you branded me a fixer? Seriously? Do you believe you are above the Supreme Court? You lack the authority to speak in such a manner and make unfounded statements at will.”
