Before creating teams, you must download the app and sign up on the platform.
Follow the steps below to create your team on Playota.
Step 1: Open the app & click on the contest card of the match you wish to join.
Step 2: Click on “Create Team”
Step 3: Choose your Playing XI (Wicketkeepers, Batters, All-Rounders & Bowlers. You may click “Team Preview” to view your line-up. Click “Continue” after your team is ready.Step 4: Choose your Captain & Vice Captain. Once finished, click on “Save Team”.

Congratulations! Your team has been saved! You can join contests directly with the team that was just saved or view all your teams in the “My Teams” page of the contest card.

How many teams can I create on Playota?
You can create as many teams as you like. Every match has endless combinations of playing XI to choose from! It is up to the user to allocate and plan his time in creating the required teams they wish.
Do you charge for creating teams?
Creating teams is FREE and we do not charge. However, entering & participating in a contest with a team is subject to a contest entry fee a user may pay to join a contest.
How can I quickly create teams?
Playota has the scan & upload feature, which allows you to upload images of teams from other apps to create the same team in seconds.
Can I create the same team again?
Yes, when creating a new team, and choosing the same players will result in another Team being created. For example, if you create a Team (T1) with the following players : A,B,C,D and then create another team again with the same players, and save – there will be two teams visible on your My Teams tab – T1 (A,B,C,D) & T2 (A,B,C,D).
How many times can I edit my teams?
You can edit your teams as many times as you like – before the team joins a contest. Once your team joins a contest, only one edit is allowed.
